Final Competition of Persons with Disabilities Games

After the province inter-districts competitions, this Sunday on 2nd December, 2012 at Maison Des Jeunes Kimisagara held the final qualification for goal ball and sit ball/women, and on 3rd December, 2012; date of the celebration of International Day of Persons with Disabilities, at Petit Stade in NPC-Gymnasium held the Final competition of sit ball/men.  Each province and City of Kigali was represented by the District winner at the national level competition.

The final Sit ball game for women was played by Kigali and Northern Province. The Northern Province won 25 as Kigali got 20. The Eastern province won the Goal Ball cup.

For sit ball men, the final match took place on 3rd December, 2012 where two teams have competed. Those were Southern province and Kigali City, and Here Southern province won the trophy.

We are thankful to the Executive Secretary of National Council of Persons with Disabilities (NCPD) who authorized this competition to Sport and Leisure Officer in collaboration with NPC-Rwanda to organize this competition. Our thanks are also addressed to the VSO, NPC-RWANDA for their support in this competition and districts for facilitating PWDs to participate in this competition.
