THE NATIONAL COUNCIL OF PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES

The National Council of Persons with Disabilities conducted the Virtual dialogue on accessibility, transport and ICT for Persons with Disability. The dialogue focused on the challenges that hindering Persons with Disabilities in accessibility, Transport, Communication and ICT. In order to enable Persons with Disabilities to live independently and participate in all sectors of life, all institutions have to work hand in hand in order to mainstream Persons with Disability and taking measures to ensure Persons with Disabilities have equal access on transport, Information, Communication, ICT in Urban and Cities. In this dialogue the participants are identifying the obstacles and barriers and are given by Civil and public institutions. Even though there are barriers, solutions are being made and the enforcement of the National Legal framework should be quickening its implementation plan to resolve these issues.
