NCPD visits ubumwe community Centre

The visit of Centres taking care of Persons with Disabilities is going on in Ubumwe Community Centre located in Rubavu District, The Centre provides training programs for developing skills for self reliance in every corner of Rwanda where people with different disabilities meet to socialise and to share their challenges to find solutions. Ubumwe Community Centre is focusing on skills where its providing tailoring, knitting, hand craft, Computer basics and music. Also in inclusive Education, they offer services in House of Children, translation class, partnership with other public schools, accessibility & medical assistance, also in Special need the centre provide services in physiotherapy, music therapy, occupation therapy, speech therapy, life skills, social reintegration, also in in community based rehabilitation, UCC provides health services, health Prevention, medical care, rehabilitation and assistive devices. UCC founded in 2008 and is taking care of more than 500 Persons with Disabilities.
