SIT BALL CHAMPIONSHIP STARTED

On 2nd and 3rd March 2013 at HVP-GATAGARA NYANZA playground held the 1st phase of National championship in sit ball and sitting volley ball

In this national championship, 16 men teams (Gisagara,  Intwari, Huye, Kivu team,  Gicumbi A, Rutsiro, Bugesera , Gicumbi B, Nyanza, Ubumwe, Musanze, Gatsibo, UNR, Rusizi ,Kamonyi, and  Rwamagana) and 11women teams (Bugesera, Kigali stars,  Intwari , Gicumbi, Nyanza, Nyarugenge, Huye, Kivu team, Musanze, Kamonyi, Nyamagabe) participated in Sitball. 8 men teams (Intwari, Kivu team, Nyanza, Gicumbi, Huye, Kigali Stars , Bugesera , and Musanze) and 8 women teams (Gisagara, Intwari, Huye,  Gicumbi, UNR, Nyanza,  Kivu team, and Musanze)  participated in Sitting Volleyball.

The National championship was officially opened by Executive Secretary of National Council of Persons with disabilities(NCPD) Mr. NDAYISABA Emmanuel and the Executive Director of UPHLS (Umbrella des Personnes Handicapees pour Lutter contre le Sida) Mr.Francois Xavier Karangwa.
